Travel Co was approached by clients who were going to Australia to visit family, but they also wanted to travel across several states for some unforgettable experiences. Bryce worked closely with them to create a holiday package that incorporated some of the top tours and accommodations in Australia.
Their trip started in Adelaide, where they went straight to a private winery tour in the Adelaide Hills after landing. This experience is completely customisable, and customers can choose which types of wine they’d like to taste, or they can select to taste gin or craft beers instead. They can also choose to have lunch at the coast or the vineyard:
The clients requested to stay somewhere central, so they could catch up with family during office hours. Bryce booked them into the beautifully restored HotelTreasury Adelaide. The hotel is recognised by UNESCO and reflects Adelaide’s architecturalbeauty.
It’s also surrounded by incredible landmarks such as the Town Hall, Victoria Square and General Post Office and isperfectly placed for shopping within walking distance of Adelaide’s Central Market the southern hemisphere s largest covered food market, and Rundle Mall.
After a few days in Adelaide, their next stop was Coonawarra and the Limestone Coast wine region for a private two-night adventure. Highlights included accommodation at the historic Delgattie Estate, lunch at the Royal Oak Hotel (Australia’s oldest hotel, built in 1848), exclusive winemaker talks and tours, a Mayura Station Wagyu dinner, and soaking in the local flora and fauna.
En route to Darwin, they were transported by one of the most iconic train trips in the world – The Ghan – which calls into Alice Springs and Uluru. The Ghan is a luxury sleeper cabin with the best Australian food and beverages onboard. After arriving in Darwin Travel Co had organised a rental car for the clients, which they used to visit family and stay for seven nights at a resort on the water’s edge. Their final stop was Brisbane, where they spent a week catching up with family before heading baCk home.
Travel Co can help put together a package that offers you a unique experience across the ditch. Make the most of visiting family – Bryce can help put together an itinerary that not only ensures you spend time with your loved ones but also that you have a trip to remember forever!
A retired couple visited Travel Co after the company was recommended to them by friends as ‘experienced specialists of SouthEast Asia’. The couple had planned to visit Vietnam and take a boat trip on the Mekong and were open to suggestions.
Travel consultant Bryce met with them to understand what they wanted out of their trip if there were any regions of interest, what their thoughts were on cultural immersion and interaction, and what their accommodation needs and provisional budgets were.
Based on the information gathered, Bryce signed them up for an exclusive group tour visiting Vietnam and Cambodia. The tour was a good mix of guided activities and free time and included local guides and offices throughoutVietnam, boutique level accommodations and – best or all – it supported Local communities.
As Bryce has over 20 years’ personal travel experience, he suggested adding Laos to the itinerary because he was drawn to its unspoilt wilderness on his visits. The couple accepted his recommendation, and this leg was added to the trip.
After the holiday, the couple returned with a glowing testimonial: “Every day was wow – we said it surely can’t be more wow tomorrow, but you know what? It was!”. When asked if Laos was worth adding to the itinerary, they said “Absolutely, 100%, not a moment of regret”.
It’s okay if you’re not sure of where you want to go. An idea and vision are all you need to have the perfect holiday planned. Travel Co can make suggestions to help make your trip one to remember.
“So much to do with so little time” is a saying true for many travellers, especially if they’re planning on settling down and starting a family. This was certainly the case for a Travel Co client that had a list of 19 things they wanted to see across the East Cowl of the United Stafes of America and Canada over the Christmas and New Year period.
While it may seem like a big task, Bryce got to work to help the clients bring to life their dream itinerary. After a five-hour phone call, they compiled a T6-page itinerary that included 18 of the activities the client waned to do.
In the USA, their adventures included staying at the Iconic Hotel in Los Angeles, travelling through the backcountry via the Grand Canyon, explorinqRoute 66, Yosemite National Park and Joshua Tree National Park, visiting Las Vegas and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and flying toseattle to explore the cities space highlights.
As for Canada, they started their trip with a sightseeing tour in Vancouver and stayed at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, which was built in the roaring twenties and has been meticulously restored. They then headed to Whistler for a skiing trip and stayed at one of Canada’s most spectacular properties, the Fairmont Chateau Whistler.
Not only were Travel Co able to he construct a three-week itinerary packed full of activities based on the customer’s bucket list, but they were able to Organise a direct flight back home. Nine months later, the clients had their first child – another goal ticked off the bucket list.
No matter what your travel goals are, or what stage of life you’re in, Travel Co can help you craft the perfect adventure. Everything will be taken care of – all you need to do is bring your passport and enjoy your trip away.
Travel Co’s clients got in touch because they wanted to make their dream of travelling across the USA a reality. They asked for two things: to stay at all the iconic boutique hotels and to have a typical all-American experience as they take in the sights and visit old friends.
Travel Co started the clients’ journey by flying them to Houston where they stayed at the iconic Sam Houston Hotel, a building built in 1924 and which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Next was Chicago, where they stayed at the classy Ritz Carlton with a view of Lake Michigan. They also had the opportunity to indulge at restaurants specialising in classic Italian Steakhouse, handmade pasta and house-dried meats.
After, they headed to New York by train in business class and stayed at the eclectic Smyth Hotel in Tribeca, one of New York’s original residential neighbourhoods. To truly immerse themselves in New York culture, they had front row seats at the New York Yankees game at the ankee stadium and attended the men’s quarterfinal at the US Tennis Open in Flushing lvleadows.
Travel Co then organised to have the clients fly from Manhattan to the north of Canada by private helicopter so they could catch up with friends for a few days. On the way back home, they stopped over in Tokyo where they stayed at the Park Hyatt Hotel, which was made popular in the movie ‘Lost in Translation’. They also visited Kyoto on the bullet train, where they got to enjoy the old imperial capital and cultural heart of Japan while staying at traditional rycikan accommodation and enjoying the onsen baths.
Travel Co understands flexibility is important when it comes to travel plans. Whether you’re looking to visit friends while fitting in some sights, or you’re looking to visit two different continents, Bryce will work with you to create a fully customisable itinerary tailored to suit your budget and needs.
